I think these two just really needed someone to believe in them, and to treat them with common respect. Alot of teens rebel and act out because their parents still treat them like baby's.

Thea mom is really to blame she was with her daughter by themselves for 9 year then out of the blue got married and had 2 other kids like yeah no kidding she’s upset
They've been setup to fail.

I wonder what would of had happened if they had refused to participate in the boot camp here then? There was another episode here where one girl had refused to do the boot camp drills and nothing had happened at all to her here so the same thing too with Cory and Thea if they had refused to do boot camp drills nothing would happen to the both of them then too.
