Now for a question i have.
I'm working on a black grail moussillion army since i assume theyre gonna do that plotline again. I get a lot of joy out of making it as lore accurate as possible. I even made some rose bush 3d files to print to have moussilion roses on the bases. (think i recall you talking about making a moussillion army yourself so just lemme know if you want them).
Im curious if the journal has some meaty moussillion lore in it since thatd probably be the deciding factor in if i buy it or not. Still a bit lost on how the new heraldry works as well.
Love your content and it has really helped keep my love for warhammer totalwar afloat and introduced me to warhammer fantasy propper (till then it was just memories of gawking at the lizardmen boxes in the store as a little kid).

Sadly I missed it this morning. I was queueing from 9:30 but it was all sold out. Maybe I should be happy about that. I want this to be GW's most successful product. Luckily I had asked my LGS to put all of the books aside for me and they've confirmed that.
Fingers crossed for the coming weeks, months and years.

Yeah, that's nice, and the game does look fun to play, but uh. What about those prices, eh? It's getting close to Shadows of Change level nonsense, isn't it? Like… 45 English Pounds for three Grail Knights? This is all supposed to be being sold to the old guard, but the old guard mostly have old models anyway, so the target audience has to be people who like Total War Warhammer and might be convinced to buy into it… but the Total War Warhammer crowd just exploded over the (truly) bonkers prices of Shadows of Change? This might not go well.
Couldn't they at least have redone the weird metal models in plastic?
And the old models… some of them look real old. 1993 old. Like, that's almost as old as I am. It's older than my brother.
Not to rain on the parade… okay, a little, a little to rain on the parade, but it's because of the tonal whiplash. Like, since when has it been the great and benevolent GW sweeping in to save consumers from the greedy and lazy CA? Lets not lose focus here and hold both up to scrutiny. Don't have to be super mean or anything, but… 45 pounds for 3 partially metal, ancient grail knights? Want the standard bearer on pegasus? Well, it's not merged with the lord on pegasus kit like you'd have expected (say, like Treemen, Treemen Ancients, and Durthu all being in one box). There are just things like that.
Ultimately, it's good that some people are happy, but… some are very mad about the prices and other details. If this is going to do well… look, it didn't do well enough to not blow up the world previously. Is this really going to bring in enough new people to justify the production costs in GW's eyes? Hopefully so.

Can you tell GW to turn back on their stance to not support their "legacy" races at all bar a stupid PDF?
My enthusiasm for ToW has really hit low with not even new lore or novels for some of my favourite races.
it's beautiful. but uh- those prices…. I get that everything is more expensive now, but- $70 for 20 dice. thats $3.5 per dice- they're not even translucent. Why is it $50 for a map? Why is the rulebook $130? These prices aren't even offensive, they're so absurdly high I am just confused.

I am a CD and Lizardmen fan. I was ok with playing with pdfs, but with them not being balanced or accepted at tournaments I am no longer interested in the game. Hopefully in a few years they will add all missing armies.
