Today, we are back in Copenhagen for the restaurant that turned Denmark into a gastro-nation.
Arguably the best restaurant in the world will close for good at the end of 2024.
It’s name is Noma.
Three years in a row, from 2010 to 2012, Noma was named NO.1 restaurant in the world.
They would go on to claim the number one spot a total of 5 times.

My name is Alexander. I’m the co-owner of a ONE Michelin star restaurant, and I’m on a mission – to find inspiration in gastronomy. I love fine dining, good wine and sharing what I know with other people.

At last the world has seen the light , they’ve seen that this resteraunt is a total sham and that the food is totally awful .
13:25 – in your mother's thong? :O
I'd love this place. Serve me items I'd never tried before but tell me after.
I had the privilege to dine at Noma during the vegetable season last summer. What an incredible moment it was! Really fun to see how the Game & Forest menu looked like. Thanks for yet another great video!
You need a new barber my dear
Wanna try Indonesia cuisine my man? We will welcome you here with open arms
The food is so strange looking its hard to relate it to anything normal people eat . The bacteria culture thing is a example of something most people would never eat or want to .
I cant be the only one who was just waiting for this Episode, thank you.
I hate to be served by people with bare tattooed skin. Disgusting. Would quite put me off my food!
Once again an amazing video 🥂
I completely understand why you select the wine pairing with your meals, but if you ever bring a guest who selects the juice pairing, I would LOVE to see what that consists of.
Noma is a beautiful restaurant. Simple, functional and yet sophisticated and inviting. The dessert courses looked amazing. Thanks for another gorgeous video!

55 edible berries in the region, Dansih only eat 7🤣
Are there vegan options?
Alexander the guest > Alexander the great
im not suprised theyre closing soon, the place is getting old and the chef probably want to move onto new things
Song at 7:00?
You should try to visit Geranium in Denmark
You say the total was "just under 2000 for 2 people" but at 12:47 the final bill is shown with menu prices at 3950 per person, and with everything it was 14,800. A bit of a difference there…
So the "closing" thing is just a marketing ploy? seems like they "close" almost every year?
As an aside, I see that your enthusiasm for food is evident. That said, your couture, jewellery, etc., all speak of someone who has not come from a hospitality background. To hear the backstory about what your occupation was and what led you to want to invest in your eatery and to fund world travel to explore higher-end dining would be interesting. As a chef of thirty years who has worked in that world, more often than not, most of the clientele are not fellow workers within the industry but people who have worked vastly different roles and positions, and yet here they are with the same conviction towards food, even though they never explored as a worker, but as the diner.
I know the film. You need to ask for a cheeseburger
2k Euro is nuts for a meal, but can see its worth the price
I wasn't aware you could win the best restaurant in the world without already having 3 Michelin stars. Feels like that should be a prerequisite tbh
I was a intern working there a few month in 2010 gave me an experience and knowledge i still use to this day.
No one cares.
How did you achieve to book a table? Noma is more difficult to book than the CL final
Do you ever think you get a special service because of who you are?
Imagine getting food poisoning in that restaurant.
-Sir, what did you eat? Anything unusual?
What a beautiful restaurant ! An another great video by the #1 guest!
Damn we have the same taste, I can enjoy and appreciate natural wine and dishes, but for me I am still for the full flavour savory dishes (foiegras, truffel, tuna, krug) still loved this video. I would be honored to eat there before they close
Haha! A game changer, eh!? Nice pun, considering you tried the Game & Forest season experience.
I can't get over your enthusiasm for the places you visit and the food you eat! I can't wait to see your next video!
