Brad Pitt was furious over the seizure of 85 prop firearms in Budapest, Hungary. The weapons were confiscated by counter-terrorism customs officers after being flown in from London. The guns could be activated by removing the screws filling the end of the barrels. Hungarian law requires weapons to be deactivated only if the process is irreversible. The movie’s weapons supervisor, ‘Bela Gajdos’, commented that a permit for the weapons had been issued by Hungarian police. However, reports claimed that main actor Brad Pitt was outraged at the seizure but producers said it had not delayed filming.

Apparently when some movie producers have guns that can be put back in working order they just sell them to cover most costs, sometimes to the wrong people
They got permits for deactivated weapons, and then didn't meet the requirements for deactivated weapons.
Honestly they should just be glad they weren't fined or arrested. They were actively smuggling weapons into the country by claiming they were props. Not intentionally, but that's still what happened.
