You can make multiples of those starter repair bays by the way, and just put one down and claim it before going into battle.

Are you able to build a second respawn point? If so, building on that volcanic spot you found in the snow biome wouldn't be a bad idea.
Have you thought of creating a second base by the entrance to the snow biome? One with extra storage, and a tech yard so you can reup on your repairs.
So i was watching another Youtuber and he found out that Strontium is in the Red plant that hides in the snow, you can take them out with laser fire.
You need to kill those plants they drop strongeum ore. The red flower ones in the snow biome.
