Can Bishop Barron explain how we make sense of the Israeli Jews of today and their brutality and genocide of the Palestinians, the decades if suppressing and trampoline on their human rights, the starvation of the Palestinians in Gaza, the bulldozing of homes and theft of Palestinian land on the West Bank etc. Here are a people who also don't believe in Jesus, many are atheist who don't believe in God yet use religion to covert land . This is a major flaw in modern ideology. Everybody wants to be the special ones, the chosen ones, the set aside ones. EVERYBODY. We're not allowed to say A is better than B because somehow it offends B. How stupid. I know there are people/things better than me. I want to be like them, so I strive to be like them. If I didn't have anybody "better" than me I wouldn't ever try to make progress. Seeing buff dudes at the gym doesn't make me bitter/angry I'm not as strong as them, it makes me want to keep pushing to maybe someday reach their status. It's a lesson, a motivation, a goal. The great anti-human nature of communism was to reduce everyone to "equality" by force.

Yes, for everybody else, i have always assumed that he perhaps wanted Israel to be a tribe of evangelists. But they failed, selfishly wanted to reserve this wonderful God who had made them flourish to themselves. And so God himself comes down in the flesh, to start an evangelical order, that eventually went out to the world to spread the good news…just an assumption…
