Although fun to watch, and no denying that M4 is rapid. However, it’s always a modified car against a stock bike.
Matt leaves .5 seconds before the bike even moves ! Bikes always struggle for grip, at just above freezing there's much less….hard to beat 4 wheel drive with 1 wheel drive in such conditions. We ride bikes because they're utterly different to cars, you're hardwired into the machine, you are a part of the machine 😎
Matt jumped every start! But still a great race to watch. Times would have been very close if both started at the same time.
Hell yeah, both the bike and the car broke down in the middle of the race.

Fascinating – I'm a stock standard rider with a stock standard 2008 gsxr 1000, power around 170 hp. Have done many runs at the local strip (surface not prepped). Can't go faster than 10.4… is this the limit for a bike on a crappy surface?

Surely press bikes are getting hammered quite hard.
But I would assume if you bought this so would an owner hammer it on a track (unless you buy it for the badge and posing, which is fine if that's how you spend your money).

I would love to see you also drag more "sensible" things but I understand that might be a bit difficult because these things require a certain viewership pull and understandably so expensive cars are more "entertaining".
Something like that new Daytona or RS660 or that street triple RR vs a slightly tuned M3/M5 or an MX-5?
I might be tough to find a nice competition on a slightly less "super" standoff but might be something to consider.

I always noticed that Matt always Slightly jumps the start. Chris launches the bike after the hands hands completely goes down. Carwow always brings heavily modified cars to race against Stock superbikes. Because they know that A stock Superbike can beat most of the Stock Supercars on the dragraces and roll Races. Anyway for the first time I am not happy about this drag race. But big Thumbs up for you Bike world Team for this Effort 👍
