Canada usually needs a loss in the prelims for them to wake up and start taking the tourney seriously.
Sweden played really good, even better than Canada in this game. But the hit was penalty worthy. It frustrates me seeing Swedish fans defend the call, just imagine the situation was reversed, you’d want the crowd booing, maybe even more than they did in this game. I don’t think Canada would have won with that penalty, but you have a shot for the gold, please be a better fan base and learn to put yourself at the place of the other team. 🇨🇦❤️🇸🇪

The Juniors have become some of the most exciting games in hockey. The level of play is outstanding. This year, Canada is not as strong as prior, which creates uncertainty, which makes for great tourney. I cannot recall a Sweden team stronger than this one. At this level, games are won by mistakes. Both teams made mistakes, but Canada could not score. Could be lack of talent, or simply nerves. Overall, Canada should have had a different game strategy. Trying to rush and out-skate the Swedes will not succeed. No screen shots on goal will not win games; the goalies are simply too good to be beaten directly. Sweden outplayed Canada and won deservedly.

canadian hockey is big trouble if has no problem winning games by diving, but start to whine when losing hard fought 60 minute 5-on-5 battles..

That, As in the Germany Game, where Swedish Player hit the German Player's Stick of his hand, and the same happened in this game against Canada, that a Swedish Player was Fault!/. Or where they?? Because I didn't see those situations so clearly, that where Faults or not!/.
