Hey everyone. This is a bonus video I recorded today just for the heck of it. I've been excited for this game for a while. Let me know if you like to see more videos on this game!
A couple notes about the game as I played a little more after I recorded this. It's not too hard to get S rank on challenges. I was able to get S rank on all the Mario 1 challenges (even the final challenge). They've kept it pretty fair in my opinion. Also, I complained about input lag in the early parts of the video, but there isn't any noticeable input lag. I just happened to be using a controller that was messed up. Anyways, I would recommend this game, it's super fun! Thanks for watching!!

This game actually looks pretty cool! I originally thought the game was overpriced but I actually think parts of the original instruction manual for each of the NES games being included makes up for the price even if the NES Games you have to pay for on Nintendo Switch already aren't included

This game is an ideas book with the ideas enforced in code. Unlike NES Remix where they actually modified the gameplay in some ways, this game does none of that to my knowledge. Every challenge can be self-imposed on the original game. Why not just buy the same game for cheaper and self-impose the challenges? Also, you could come up with your own challenges with your own rules if you did that, which this game does not allow as there is NO level editor/challenge maker. If they gave you the ability to play the base game, sure it's fine as it's a collection pack. They don't do that though and it is a full-priced game that costs more than NES Remix. If you like the ideas and think they are worth 60 dollars by all means I guess play it, but I would rather just have the actual games. I wouldn't even say a collection pack of these was worth 60 dollars in 2024 much less a collection pack of challenges of the games without being able to play the full content. You can get more content with Nintendo Switch Online's NES and SNES collections.
