I was witness to tough men outpouring emotions after India triumphed over South Africa in Barbados. Here’s my first reaction in the aftermath of the grand finale!

To me, the tears that all the players shed was a testament to just how much pressure they have been under. It was just a release of all that pent up emotion and stress. I hope we as fans can be a little kinder to our players going forward. Winning a World Cup is not easy, even for the richest team. I feel like the pressure overwhelmed them in November against a mentally tough team, and I think it really benefited them that they were playing far away from home without the glare of 1.3 lakh spectators and Indian media, along with all the nationalist jingo and PM presence.
Never knew you had a channel. Subscribed
Harsha's line of interviewing Virat was amazing.
Selfish chokli😂😂
Why nobody is taking about dada he is the one who made rohit as captain and rahul as coach and got trolled very badly by virat fans , btw virat himself left the test captaincy so dada thought rohit will be a right choice for odis and t20s look the result now and where are virat fans who were abusing dada .
हिंदी में या मराठी में बोल घंटे😡
Highlighting a point that has been missed…about Kohli's selection. India had lost far too often in the semi-final / final despite dominating the initial rounds. Batting collapses has been a major factor…this is where I think the team management has hedged their risks to retain Kohli in the t20 side in the event the top 3 or 4 hitters fail. Throughout the tournament Kohli looked uncomfortable playing the Rohit style …bang bang in the first 6 overs. But in the final …3 top batters fell for low scores…and this was a god send opportunity for Kohli to play his normal style of cricket…start slow, hold one end, allow other hitters to play around him and then crank up the strike rate in the last few overs thru 6s and 4s. We have seen King Kohli the masterful batsman play this way successfully many many times in the 50 overs cricket to bring victory for India. Also this time around the feeling would have been that India have a strong and varied attack to defend a decent total.
I think it was a proper team win spearheaded by Rohit with his brains and bat and Bumrah with the ball. Every single player contributed in one or the other way in one or the other match. My heart raced like a Ferrari and tears filled my eyes. While it didn't sink in like 2007 or 2011 coz I was far younger then, this will be a good memory in the future. Especially the way we clawed back in after losing our way in the 15th over. Cheers!
Harsha mama please do podcast with Rohit, Kohli ….take Dk n Ashwin too in that..to get good conservation 🎉… Waiting 🎉🎉
Harsha, I liked the part where you said 'Bumrah's role is also in inspiring bowlers like Arshdeep'. That's an underrated factor.
2022: "This game was gone, Virat Kohli pullllllled it back"
2024: "This game was gone, Jasprit Bumrah pulled it back"
The teary faces of Hardik Rohit Kohli and everyone, automatically brings tears to our eyes 😭😫
That's UNITED NATIONAL CONNECT, which we cannot ever find in leagues 😊
Just trump AUS in KNOCKOUT now, and exact revenge of 2003FINAL and since 2015 knockouts, cannot bear those scathing losses ☹️🙄😊
JAI HIND 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳✌️☺️
Hasha I have a small request can you please make a show or make an appearance on wassey and iffy channel on YouTube
Hardik should learn apart from his talent, learn how to be down earthed and stay grateful to the country and people, remove his bad attitude and ego. Improve his fitness level being an all rounder, otherwise he is treasure else he will get more hate no matter what he did so far.
Harsha is truly the voice of cricket❤
I have no interest in cricket and I only watch when India is in World Cup . I don’t even understand the game and only wish my country to win . Sir I have been replaying the highlights over and over again
Hello Harsha what about sky catch did he touched rope ? Ur thoughts pls
No one mention the guy take the catch On the boundary.
Good video ❤
Rohit Sharma ❤😢 an emotion
in addition to all those gems of indian cricket, we should someday pay tribute to you harsha bhogle. we grew up on your words and your poetry for decades. you too are just as important treasure of indian cricket. Your words too are just as memorable.
But was the catch legal?
Beautiful summed up❤
Today match was difference between india and australia.australia would never gone to bowler like axar but they will go on bowler who extract weak side of Klassen.here rohit gone to axar whom klassen will play easily
Suprising The legend Sunilsir was absent in the broadcasting room 😅
Spare a thought for Shami! You are as much a part of this win as anyone else!! Barring injury you would have been there wheeling away with that bolt upright seam- Right arm raised, head bowed and a shy smile after knocking over one more batsman.
some people think that virat played slow but looking at all previous world cups whenever virat or rohit are not there we collapse. he had to make sure he doesn't lose his wicket. he did that brilliantly. if he got out playing big shots i am sure we would have crumbled under pressure like all previous world cups
Virat ❤

Dear Mr. Bhogle,
We have a few requests for videos/vlogs:
1. Rahul 'Dronacharya' Dravid's journey as a coach (Senior Team, U-19, and NCA Chief).
2. An inside look at India's backroom engine, focusing on the support staff and the role of the NCA.
3. Insights into how Indian selectors operate and how the selection culture has evolved over the years.
4. The future of India's T20 team beyond Rohit and Virat, possibly featuring Jadeja.
5. Strategies for India to fill its trophy cabinet with all ICC trophies.
Looking forward to your engaging narration!
Best regards.
Jay
Thanks Harsha for sharing this.❤
He , plz have a podcast with winning team
Harsha Bhogle sir what about the legend Rahul Dravid. The strange thing is some great coaches always do well in the second season. Jose Mourinho always has had his second season as the best season same for Rahul Dravid when he was coach of the under 19 and now when he was the senior team coach.
@bhogle_harsha Sensitive, gentle, nuanced, mildly cheeky- that's Harsha all the way.
Not for nothing is Harsha so highly rated. People may not have heard him much of late, especially those who watched cricket post 2010's…. But he definitely has the vocabulary & skill to articulate our emotions.
@bhogle_harsha 100% agree that by the end of the match, one could have felt & sensed the emotions pouring out without even interacting with the players. I felt it from my TV. David Miller & Tabraiz Shamsi looked inconsolable. Miller's shot of hanging on to his partner, not letting her go, can be very painful for a neutral viewer.
Rohit, Kohli, Bumrah, Dravid, & Pandya's reactions as they all fell down to the ground or felt a huge relief – that's a clear sign of finally getting hold of something you've been desperate for, after coming too close over the past decade. Rohit slamming the ground was the exact emotion I felt myself. Pandya falling down on the pitch after the last ball was emotion letting itself spill over. Every Indian team member who has been there for quite sometime felt relief & choked throats. That's what coming close & losing can do. After a very, very long time, it was a hugely emotional end to a World Cup. I'll remember this for Bumrah, Rohit, Dravid, Virat, & Pandya. Magnificent display of how alive sport can make you feel. This is why sport can be addictive, like a tragic romantic. The emotional release that we long for, while suffering numerous setbacks on the way. Surreal stuff.
Hi Harsha, intriguing and touching analysis of the finals from perspective of both sides. Thanks for that. Did u get a feeling that the Ind team (especially Rohit Virat and Hardik)was more relieved of winning an ICC trophy than having the sheer joy winning the worldcup. It almost looked like a 1.5 billion ton brick was removed off their chest. Never have i seen such emotions on cricket field. Not even when Sachin won in 2011. Would be great if you can share ur opinion on this.
Feel for Qd
A formidable team forming….without Kohli Rohit Jadeja…thats a team to be feared😮
Jai Hind!!!!!!
Bhai, Harsha… Pls you too retire this time. We are tired of ur What a bowl what a bowler .. commentary
It has taken over a billion people to shape this team and over 11 years to re-attain the goal. If there are no emotions flowing here, you are not human. It is not just the team that cried tears of joy but a nation and its people around the world that participated in this moment. Every team member has something to say today, and the people of India understand. After all, this is a Champion team. Congratulations, Team India!
I was crying so with these boys fr winning the world cup my blood pressure even wen up ❤❤
Sir,
Please question Rishabh Pant's match awareness and seriousness towards building an innings. He still lacks maturity, despite facing a life threatening incident and observing a broken Dhoni in 2019.
We are holding back a talent like Sanju Samson, just in anticipation that Pant could be a match player.
Rohit has 75% ODI won history as captain better than any other captain in India. So he should carry on in ODI, & Test cricket. We expect ODI world cup this time from Rohit lead team.
Superb, plz make a longer one only on this fabulous Final match for us to relive those glorious moments
Hey Harsha, this World cup Win is special in a very different way. This is a shift in mindset for Indian cricket. Till now India was a team of Campions but the change in culture means India is now a Champion team. What I mean is, instead of depending on individual players India has now started to play as a Team where the role is more important than the players name. To me this is more significant change
