You know Gideon is 31 right
I had clash at demonhead on the NES when I was 10
Why does this movie rock so much?
The transitions of scenes in the movie are seriously the best in movie history!
G is the seventh letter of the alphabet.
10:31 i see mother mothers oh my <3 album
good ol' fanperson me, recognized the fish
my favorite movie🤩
The concept of Mecha-Gideon reminds me of Path of Neo. I understand it parallels the Matrix trilogy plot. Instead of the climactic fight between Neo and Oracle Smith with a packed audience of other Smiths, though, the city becomes Smith.
Girders and building parts of all kinds assemble to form a, um, Metal Giant Smith.
Years ago,, My daughter and I rushed to the theater when we heard it was the very last showing before the movie was removed,, we made it early enough to see the commercials, after the movie i realized that our car was stolen.. in my hurry I had left the keys in the car and windows down, we were in the parking lot past 130am waiting for the cops who never came, ended up calling my brother to pick us up. Still Totally Worth It.
I got to see it in the theater yesterday!!
Going to see it in a theater tonight 🙂
In addition to Nintendo games sex bob ombs and the clash at demon head are also inspired by early punk rock bands the Sex Pistols and the clash
Each and every scene Or moment Or dialogue Or frame has something in it. All the actors nailed their role, specially Wallace
One of my all time favourite films
Ramona, main actor in road kill , amazing Canadian movie about a girl chasing after a band lost up north
also ramona's phone number only contains numbers 7 or under
I thought Ramona was named after "I heard Ramona Sing" which was a song Frank Black wrote about The Ramones. Seems unlikely this would be lost on a movie that references Pixies.
I knew about all those X’s in the film
I was 50 when I saw this movie. I loved the hell out of it. I still do!
i adore this peice. and i say it is 100% art and genius…
The 'X' Pedestrian signs are actual street signs in Toronto. 😀
Another fun fact… Bill Hader was a heavyweight in Canadian comedy making a HUGE splash in the TV show and follow up movie "Kids in the Hall".
Of course Beck is a "7" time grammy winner.
Love that there's a test audience. Hope to be one someday
I wish the film had come out again this month be damned Covid-19. The Drive-Ins are open…
I only knew one of these cool facts
15:23 What does he say? Caracas?
Ocular porn isnt that what anime is anyway
I lUV THIS MOVIE!!!!!!
I'm fucking ancient and I love this film.
Has anyone noticed the similarities of Romeo from Romeo & Juliet to Scott Pilgrim in terms of his flightiness in his relationships?
I just watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago and instantly fell In love with it.
#10, actually he defeated alot more than 7 guards, alot of the strikes ranged from 150-250 points
I promise scott will wake up 10 yrs later wishing he stayed with knives
I saw somewhere where Scott stayed with ramona, but NEGA scott got with knives…
I love how they actually got Chris’s actual stunt team to play his fictional stunt doubles, I always wondered how awesome of a coincidence that’ll be
What's this bullshit that people over 30 don't get Scott Pilgrim?!? That's fucking stupid, since it's packed with video game references and all the game references are for games that are over 30 or the people playing them at their time of release would be over 30 and the people making them would be over 30. Stupid statement WhatCulture.
SO UNDERRATED!!!
The one sad thing about the ending for the movie being shot before the ending of the comic was written is that Knive's exit line in the comic and Scott's reaction to it is GOLDEN and I wish it could have somehow retroactively made it into the movie. "You'll always be my Clash at Demonhead." with Scott turning away with a smile, and then looking perplexed, saying "I have no idea what that means…" is way better than "I'm too cool for you anyway. Go."
Saw Scott pilgrim with my mates cos we didn't have owt else to do.. now its one of my favourite films of all time
CinemaWins also explained the "numbers attached to exes" very good in his video!
Not to be pedantic but I'm pretty sure the universal logo at the beginning is 64-bit
*NEGA SCOTT
Garbage Truck is one of my favorites
I may have to go and rewatch this again. 😊
Didn't see it until I was in my 40's and loved it immediately. Got my 14 year old son to watch it recently and he had the same reaction.
It's an epic movie and yet they didn't let Edgar Wright direct Ant-Man the way he wanted.
I just watched it again. It was still trash.
0:04 reload it, what did he just say
