I wouldn't entertain anything over 60,000grt and preferrably something sub 40.000grt.
That thing is just a giant theme park complex … not proper cruising at all.
It’s giving…. Titanic
Whilst I admire the engineering I don't understand the appeal. Being confined to a housing estate / theme park / shopping centre / swimming pool, and crowded ones at that for weeks at a time. Why?
If she started to founder, I would like to see 7600 people getting into lifeboats. A floating nightmare.
Not eco
Not 20 seconds into this clip, and they have to say “Titanic”…
News from another world. For me, this is news from a world where there is pretentious luxury and total poverty, where the strong trample on the weak in order to "make money" on his death. Actually, hence what is happening in the real world right now.
It's like a floating Vegas.
as history repeats , let's hope I'm wrong.
250,000 tons of Norovirus more like it
Shopping Centre of the Seas. Every husband's worst nightmare 😂
…….10.000 passagiers? Niet juist… maximaal 7.400 en circa 2.600 bemanning…..
Standard American travel..book an American port of deparure, book a cruise with fellow Americans, live aboard ship, dine aboard ship, party aboard ship with fellow Americans. Briefly, with great trepidation, scurry onto shore buy a souvenir ash stray. Scurry back aboard. "Sealed" in America!
I would never get on that
Made in Finland
As a sociophobic introvert, that amount of people in that same ship would give me nightmares.
Modern marvel or not, that ship ain’t got no alibi because its U.G.L.Y!
I can think of no greater hell.
Post-covid these things just look like floating death-traps to me. No thank you.
And i thought royals song of America was big when I was a kid in late 80s great ship sailed on her twice.. but is insane now how big cruise ships have gotten !
