Some countries, like Indonesia or China, may dominate the world in gross domestic product but have very low wages and quality of life. The countries mentioned in this video are ranked according to the GDP per capita and overall average wages. To put it simply, a country’s wealth should be measured by the totality of all goods and services, taking into account of the country’s population. The List of the Richest countries in the world has slightly changed from last year due to the pandemic with some countries facing a Notable drop in their GDP per capita. Autonomous regions and Principalities like Monaco and Hong Kong are not mentioned in this video.
