NC State Baseball and Kentucky Baseball played in the opening round of the 2024 College World Series. Bracket play is a 4 team double elimination setup (like regionals), with the winner advancing to the best of 3 College World Series Finals.

This Kentucky team plays great defense, has timely hitting, runs the bases well, plays small ball and gets outs on the mound. They don't have any true superstars but a group of players that have bought into playing as a team and trusting in each other. They're fun to watch!
