  5. Как можно было составить топ 10 ОБТ по их эффективности, если из всего топа полноценно воевали 1,5 танка? Ну и конечно, по классике американских каналов – на самом дне обязательно Русские, а что бы не палиться, американские мы ставим на около топовые места.

  6. Tanks are OK. Now a days only Airwarfare. First air bombardment. Followed by ground warefare under protection of Helicopters and fighter jets. Now a days Anti Tank missiles leading in warfare like SPIKE etc. From long distance missiles attacking Tanks eventhough in hundreds of Tanks in warfront. Any good or valuewise costly Tanks blasting by missiles.
    Number of Tanks and costly are not matter under the missile attacking.

You forgot ALTAY tank to add to this list, also Russian tanks prices are calculated differently plus tank prices are a sensitive matter since they depend greatly on the amount produced, etc. In short Armata costs much more than stated, but actual price is still not known because it didn't enter serial production yet and in light of recent events Russian tanks actual value is probably somewhere around value of scrap metal in that weight…

Such is the case of the thousands of unfortunate Russian soldiers sent to conquer Ukraine riding inside a tank.

In just nine short days, 300 javelin missiles fired at Russian tanks, 285 tank kills from inexperienced gorilla fighters. At about $40,000 a shot, compared to 4-8 million a tank, for the price of one tank, you can buy about 90-180 javelins killing 81 to 160 tanks at 8 million each. 641million lost! If modern technology can so easily take out these tanks what's the use of having tanks?

  20. Cost is also depending of the quantity built. As France wants to have his own military production, it is often at a larger cost per unit, except when it is possible to export (like France is doing with Rafale plane, that makes the unit price going down).

  36. The cost of the Abrams tank was $6.21 million when first produced in 1980. If adjusted for inflation it would be $8.92 million. Considering the Abrams is over 40 years old and still in service while the Russians have produced 3 or 4 new tanks in that time and they still don't have anything that will out perform the Abrams i would say the Abrams it is a bargain at any price!
